Many Apologies
Submitted by SDusterwald on Fri, 2006-12-29 01:40.I just want to apologize for the filler content today, I swear things will be back to normal next week. In addition to all the holiday cheer and various obligations that go with it, I was hit by a rather nasty flu. So I hope you all can understand why I wasn't able to complete a whole page for this week. Once the new page goes up it will replace the filler page so that the story is uninterrupted.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone!
Magic World Champs!

I just want to say that Time Spiral is a great set for Limited with loads of usable cards. There are really very few cards in the set that can be considered unplayable in Limited. Kudos to the designers at WotC.

I created a 3D CGI background for the scene, drew each of the charaters on a seperate sheet of paper, and then composited it all on the computer. This did give the image a really nice feel of depth, but in the end I decided not to continue this method in the future.
It's more work and takes a lot of planning. It would work well in a team situation where someone focuses just on the CGI/compositing stage but as it is I already have to balance being writer, penciler, inker and colourist all in one. I may come back to t
